Gary A. Gordon
August 1, 1940 to December 26, 2011

Gary Alden Gordon was born in Painesville, Ohio on August 1, 1940, to the late Earl Davis and Gertrude Gordon. Gary was the older of two children. He attended Union Congregational Church while growing up in Painesville, Ohio. He attended Thomas W. Harvey High School and graduated in 1958. Gary participated in High School sports, such as Track and Field, and Basketball. Upon graduation, Gary entered the United States Army and trained as a Paratrooper and Infantry soldier. When Gary was discharged from the Army. He attended Lake Erie College and Cuyahoga Community College. He had a high interest in the electronic filed and received certification as a electronic and computer service technician from Hickok Technical Institute in 1987. He stayed current in his specialty, which aided him in gaining employment at Ford Motor Company. While there he became an Advance Process Engineer and supervisor until he retired in 2003. Gary loved travelling the country and was an avid "golf" player and participated in many local tournaments. He was a very sociable person and loved meeting people.

Gary leaves to cherish his memory a daughter, Lucia Marie Gordon; two granddaughters, Justine and Autumn; a brother, Kenneth E. Gordon of Denver, CO.; two cousins Carltina Carter of Rochester, NY and Daryl Wilson of Houston, TX, nieces, nephews and many friends.
