Atha Jones
February 5, 1930 to June 27, 2011

Atha Huff Jones was born February 5, 1930 in Perry County, Sprott Alabama, to the parents of the late Bessie and Keeper Huff. She was the fifth child of five children. Her brothers Tommie Huff, Gosby Huff, Luther Huff and sister Bertha L. Huff preceded her in death.

Atha Huff Jones was a dedicated Christian; she was a devoted wife, mother and loving person to her family and friends. She was a loving mother who cared for us, listen to us, shared with us, was faithful to all of us, and humbly welcomed others. Her greatest love was her family. She always communicated with her family and shared special holidays and would visit with everyone. She loved cooking, flowers, reading, yard sales, baking and gardening. Atha served faithfully at Mount Nebo Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as a deaconess and very active and involved in her Ruth Circle and other various things at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, her devoted husband, Frank Jones Sr., four children Frank Jones Jr., Debra Jones, Bernard Jones, Arminta Jones, grandchildren; Cordell, Ausherri, great grand-children Corey, Courtney. She also leaves to mourn her passing dear nieces, aunts, uncles and a host of other loving family members and friends.
