Lillian Gates
March 23, 1936 to May 16, 2011

Lillian Gates fought long and hard with all her might to be with her family, but on May 16, 2011, Lillian went home to be with the Lord.

Lillian leaves to carry on her legacy of service in Christ, her husband James Gates Sr., her loving children Barbara, Jacqueline, and James Jr., nine grandchildren: Tanisha, Alana, Danielle, Dorian, Jamika, Jasmine, Caleb, James III, and Jamal; seven great grandchildren: Taylin Tyler, Michael, Keirra, Tristyn, Mylah, and Britton. Loving sisters: Ethel Dean Goree (George), Vinnie Matthews, Maggie Wilkerson, and brother Floyd Russell, and many other devoted family members and friends.
