Beverly Louise Jackson “Pooh” was born November 1, 1955 in Akron, OH to Classie Colvin and the late Willie C. Jackson.
She attended Akron Public Schools graduating from Garfield High School. She attended The University of Akron majoring in Nursing.
Beverly was baptized at an early age at Miracle Revival Church in Akron, OH where she a member of the choir and played the piano.
Beverly worked for the State of Ohio for 37 years as a Therapeutic Program Technician where she cared for all of her patients dearly.
She did not have any children of her own, but she had a host of nieces and nephews that she took care of as if they were her own. Beverly loved to debate anyone that was brave enough to challenge her. She loved to journal and read books. She also loved social gatherings with her family and friends, gardening and crafts.
She is preceded in death by her father, Willie C. Jackson; brother, David Duane Jackson; grandparents, Robert Babe Knox and Lilly Knox, and Jimmy and Bessie Jackson; nephews, Michael (Honeyman) Turner and Sullivan (Jay) Jackson.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Classie (David) Colvin; sisters and brothers, Shirley R. Turner, Ralph Jackson, Willie (Darla) Jackson, and Barbara Tolliver; favorite cousin, Sheila Blair; special friend, William Walters and a host of family and friends.
