Ms. Dora Lee, 85, of Montrose Avenue, Akron, Ohio departed this life after a long illness on Saturday, August 4, 2018. She was born to the late R.B. Lee and the late Elnora Johnson.    Before her illness, Ms. Lee was devoted to the arts of crocheting, knitting, quilting, and sewing—making beautiful afghans, quilts, and clothes for family, friends and others throughout the Northeast USA to enjoy. In addition to these talents, she also enjoyed painting and drawing. She loved the Lord and the Word of God but because of a disability, she faithfully watched Reverend Jimmy Swaggart on TBN. Before she passed away, she was praising God on her sick bed and took her last breath praising Him while listening to Rev. Swaggart. Her favorite song was Amazing Grace.

She was educated in the Akron, Ohio school system and graduated from East High School. Ms. Lee was employed by Papa Joe’s.

Ms. Lee is survived by her sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Rogers of Akron, OH and Mother Rosetta (Bishop Samuel) White of Hamden, CT; and special nieces who lovingly and gently cared for her during her illness: Yolanda Smith (and friend, Dirk Thompson), Valerie Thornton, Destiny King, Chastiny King, and Dynasty King and a host of nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
