Herman “Skin” Anderson passed away Friday, June 15, 2018.
Herman was born on April 23, 1931, in Montgomery Alabama, to the late Bama Anderson. He was a welder at B&W for 34 years retiring in 1990. Herman was an entrepreneur and a jack-of-all-trades. He did house painting, roofing, drywalling, plumbing, and concrete work. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing and being with friends. Herman is preceded in death by brother Charlie Anderson; sisters Rosa Golson, Juanita Anderson and Georgia Lane; son Herbert Harrell; daughters Renee Anderson, Linda Carter, Tracy McIntosh and Juanita “Danny” Anderson.
To cherish his memory Herman leaves his devoted wife Edwina Anderson; sons Elder Michael (Jackie) Owens, Herman Davis and Aaron Anderson; daughters Erica Hailstock, and Felicia Nicholson along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.
