Luvenia Massey “Vinnie” 58 was called home to be with the Lord on June 12, 2018.  Luvenia was born on March 2, 1960, in Cleveland, OH to the late Robert and Luzzola  Massey.

She lived in Ohio all of her life, where she was raised by her grandparents the late Emma and (Willie) Gentry; aunts Leola Moreland, Iola (John) Williams, Lottie (Michael) Broch; uncles Mack and Clay Williams assisting.

Luvenia attended Glenville High School. In the late 70’s and later receiving her GED. She held several positions of employment for numerous companies.  Her greatest peace was being a stay at home mom helping the entire community.  Luvenia married Earl Hardin in 1980 and became a widow in 2003.

Luvenia cherished moments with family and enjoyed singing, acting, dancing, having debates, playing cards, playing pool and most of all spreading love to all of the children she encountered.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Luzzola Massey; grandparents Willie and Emma Gentry and brother Abraham Massey.

She is survived by aunts, Leola Moreland, Lottie (Michael) Broch, Iola (John) Williams; uncles, Mack and Clay Williams; cousins, Timothy Williams, Veronica Williams and Nichole Thomas;  three children Darrell (Celeste) Massey, Serita Massey and Katherine Massey; sisters, Irene (Michael) Jenkins, Lillian Massey, Blannie “Poochie” Day; grandchildren, Tacciana Massey, Nauteaka Thomas, Jalisa Massey, Laecha Martin, Cadajanier Vincent, Devin Ellerson, Javionte Bitting, and Miah Massey; 2 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
