"Precious memories how they linger how they ever flood my soul..." I have so many precious memories of my Pastor Roosevelt Walker. It was through his teaching and leadership at St. John Miss. Baptist Church in Springfield, Ohio, that I developed a love for God's word in my life as a young teenager. I treasure growing up with Angelique, Tanya, Vic at St. John Miss. Baptist Church. I pray that you too, will hold onto, the precious memories of your dear father. May God provide comfort to the entire Rev. Walker Family in their time of need. Rev. Walker it was an honor to know you. Through my friendship turned sisterhood with Konswella, I learned of your intelligence, your humor, your drive, and, most importantly, your faith. They colored every story about you and live on so vibrantly in her. Sway, I love you so much and I wish I could be there. To the Walker Family, you have always been so loving to me and treated me as one of your own. It breaks my heart that I can’t be there for you all today. My family and I send our love and a sincere offering that if there is anything we can do to offer you comfort during this time, please let us know. Rev. Walker, I know where you’re headed and I hope to see you there someday so we can finally discuss that book of yours.
