Willa Delores Williams went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 21, 2018.

Willa Delores Williams (Smith), 75 was born on January 27, 1943, to William F. Smith II and Luresa Smith in Akron, Ohio.

She attended Miller Grade School and graduated from Garfield High School.  She was a homemaker and retired from St. Thomas Hospital. Willa was a member of Zion Apostolic Faith Church and served as a Prayer Ban Warrior.  She also sang with the Akron, Canton, and Youngstown Mass Choir.  Willa enjoyed singing, playing piano and doing crossword puzzles.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Estella Denson; and brother William “Billy” F. Smith II.

She is survived by her children, Andre (Melody) Williams and Maurice (Tonya) Williams of Akron, OH; 12 grandchildren, Tyree, Tyra, Kenny, Ellis, Eric, La’Tikka, La’Taya, Shantia, Alliyah, De’Jarnay, La’Myia, and Vicky; sisters Barbara (Joe) McCary, Josephine Love, Gwendolyn Gaines, Eleanore Ford, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and best friend Evelyn Campbell.
