Alonza McMeans, Jr., aka “TAT”, was born August 27, 1951, to Ellie Mae Bailey and Alonza McMeans, Sr. in Lowndes County, Alabama. He departed this life on Sunday, September 6, 2020, at his resident in Akron, Ohio along side his significant-other, Julie Mullins. Alonza (TAT) was self- employed as a auto mechanic.

He leaves to cherish his memory of his life 11 children; Byrant Keith McMeans of Montgomery Al, Rosalita Woodall ,Jamille Woodall, Alontae McMeans, Tamara Johnson, Talisha Johnson, Tonnie Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Sherita Fitch, Ashanti Hammond, Andreas Hammond; 3 brothers, Sammuel Lee McMeans of Montgomery, Al, Clayton (Shirley) McMeans of Greenville, Al, and Matthew (Margaret) McMeans of  Montgomery, Al; 4 sisters, Annie Jewel Keys, Mosspoint, Ella V. Taylor of Greenville,  Al, Georgia M. Sellers, Fort Deposit, Al, Annie Pearl Porterfield of Akron Ohio and a host of grandkids, aunts, uncles ,nephews, nieces, and friends.
