Peace family. My granny was like a second mom to me and Khadija growing up! Every-time we visited her during the summers , she would spoil us just like my mother did! Got us everything we wanted, we went shopping all the time, we were like her daughters that she never had! She took us on trips Niagara Falls and so much more! When we weren’t there she would send us money to take care of us! My grandmother was a boss too! She owned her own beauty salon, owned her home, car, everything! She even sold her recipe to Stouffers back in the day. When my father made transition we did not get to visit her while we were there in Cleveland, one thing my father wanted the most was to make sure his mother was always taken care of. We miss you granny. We thank you for everything! I’m sure God is pleased with you! Know that your legacy will live on through us! - My Queen! Too many words to describe your strength, power, intelligence, resilience, beauty, and so many other things. A debt that could never be repaid for how you cared for and loved us. Your legacy has just begun! Your Daughters; Tamra and Khadija. May everyone please pray for her; Bernice Williams as she is on her next journey!

Granny was the grandmother of my daughter’s friend Kitty. She embraced all of Kitty’s friends. They called her Granny and I did too. She threw New Year’s Eve sleepovers while they were in high school. First year of college they still went to Granny’s for New Years. She poured love into them and everyone she came into contact with. She gave her all. Rest easy Granny. Love to you always Bernice Williams.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
