Cynthia L. Penny, age 61, went home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2020. Cynthia is survived by her beloved husband, Frank Penny; children, Derek L. Ware, DeAnte (Jess) J. Penny, and Latrice D. Penny; siblings, Michael Berry, Greg Fuller, Darlene Michael Milton, Wayne Berry, Alisa (Bryan) Parker, Shawn (Reta) Berry, Tonya (Durrand) Hopkins, William Berry II., Anthony (Barbara) Berry, Raymond Berry, Yvonne Berry, and Victoria Berry; grandchildren, Justin, Aiden, and Avery. Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, William A. Berry and Mildred E. (Walker) Berry, and sister Sandra Lynn Berry.

I am so sorry to hear about this. I worked with Cynthia at Tri-C for several years and she was a great person. May she rest in peace!

To the Penny and Berry families - May God bless and wrap His loving arms around you all at this difficult time. My prayers are with you all. Cynthia was a co-worker at Tri-C and I knew her for 15 years. Every weekend she would relieve me (I worked third shift; she was the early bird who always came in with a smile). I would never race out and go home because we would always have the best conversations about any and everything. She also was one of a few people who trained me as a dispatcher. Our birthdays were 3 days apart and we always said we would go out and celebrate. What a beautiful person Cynthia was and I will truly miss her. Her spirit will live on forever. God bless.

Cynthia & Frank not only became our neighbors in 2004. They became part of our family and we are all saddened by her passing. She will truly be missed greatly as she already is. I met Cynthia 20+ years ago as a co-worker, we formed a lasting friendship. She was a beautiful person and always someone I could have real girl talk with.
