My deepest sympathy goes out to Frances’ family and loved ones. In 1961, I met Frances for the first time. I fell in love very quickly. I remember hold Kim every time I was at Frances’ house on East 143rd in Cleveland. We both loved each other and we were planning on getting married after my military service was over in four years. She was so beautiful. We were going to make our marriage to work even though we had a major obstacle ….. and that being we would have a mixed marriage. Frankly, we had no problem with that. We were in love period. When I came home on leave, I went straight to her house. Her Mom said that she had moved but did not know where I wrote to Frances nearly every day and never heard from her. 32 years later, I received a call from Frances . She said she had never received any mail from me. She figured her Mom had throne out my mail because she did not think that our love and marriage would not work. When she called me, I was already married. Very sad. Very sad.

My sincere condolences to Frances family. She always had an encouraging word. You are not always lucky enough to meet a person so genuine as Frances. A person that when someone mentions her name, you smile. I have nothing but fond memories of Frances. You will be missed.
