On April 10, 2019, Gertrude Cunningham departed this life to enter a more abundant one. She was born on April 27, 1927 to the late Jim and Ida Evans in Montgomery, Alabama.
In 1966 she married Bunny Cunningham, with no children born to this union.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ida; brothers, Algie, Willie James, Preston, and Monroe; sisters, Vickie, Bessie, Sadie, Mattie and Jimmie.
She is survived by Leon (Gloria) in Akron, OH, and Lucille Turner of Akron, OH.
She leaves to cherish her memory; two daughters, Rutha and Joshua of Hamden, CT, Ida Haynes of New Haven, CT and son Robert (Charlene) of Bakersfield, CA; 5 grand children and a host of great grandchildren, loving nieces, nep hews and friends.
