Jamarrick was born on February 25, 1998 in Akron Ohio to parents Christina Surgeon & Ricky Valentine 1

He attended Ida B Wells Elementary and Roswell Kent for middle school. He briefly attended Garfield High School and graduated from Ecot finishing high school in 2016.

He was an aspiring police officer for the city of Akron ranking 16th out of nearly 800 applicants on his written test. He was also an applicant for the University of Akron Student Law Program. He was a backyard mechanic and wanted to be a pilot.

He met his fiancé and middle school sweetheart, Kahlia Ewing, in the 7th grade while attending Rosewell Kent in 2013. Six years later the two welcomed daughter Santana Marlee Valentine on January 10, 2019.  Jamarrick loved fishing, animals, swimming, playing basketball, football, foot racing, and was a 4runner hobbyist. He also loved learning new things and often teaching himself.

He is preceded in death by his father; Ricky Gene Valentine I; great grandfather, Eddie Valentine; grandmother and grandfather, Katherine & Robert Surgeon.

Jamarrick is survived by his daughter; Santana Valentine; Fiance; Kahlia Ewing; mother, Christina Surgeon; grandmother, Brenda Valentine; sisters, Angelica Thomas, Brianna Valentine and Rhea Valentine; brother Ricky Valentine II; nieces: Gia’Vahni “Gigi”, Sophia “Soap”, NeMiah “NeNe” and Trinity-Hope “Pooh”; nephews, Ricky III “Hammy”, Jaxxon “Jax” and Jonah; aunts Yolanda Polk, Nicole Valentine and a host of cousins; best friend and brother in law Reggie Glover; best friend and sister in-law Jordan Glover; best friend and “Brother” Stefon Wilder.
