Visitation is Friday, March 1, 2019,  2-8 p.m. at The Calhoun Funeral Home, 23000 Rockside Road, Bedford Heights, Ohio 44146.

Service

Service is Saturday,  March 2, 2019,  11:00 a.m. at Sanctuary Baptist Church, 4004 East 131st Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44104, where family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m.

James Jones Sr. age 88 went home to be with the Lord on February 17, 2019. James is preceded in death by lifelong partner and friend Barbara Jones; Parents Edward W. Jones Sr. and  Ada Jones; Children, Morris Pelly and Cheri McNeal; siblings, Edward Jr., Charles Johnny, Freddie, Aleeta, Mary, Ada and Florence.

 

James leaves to cherish his fond memories; Children, James Jones (Annette), Jennifer Prater (Jammie), Michael Pelly and Gina Pelly; Grandchildren, Jessica Jones, Jazmin Jones, James Dale Jones, Leeah Jones, Chanel Pelly, Yolanda Pelly and Jennifer Pelly; Great-grandchildren, Jade Jones, Darryn Jones, Anthony Taylor-Doxey, Londyn Rae Stewart. And a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
