Lawanda K. Holmes went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2018.

Lawanda is survived by her husband, Clarence J. Holmes; parents, Lois Watson (Milton R. Watson II) and Herbert Epps II (Jean Epps); her three sons, Brian and Kevin Epps and Jason Baker; grandchildren, Kevin Epps II, Anthony Epps, Markylin Epps, Asharia Carson, and Naveh Epps; siblings, Prentella Racklin, Darlene Anderson, Horace Epps, Herbert Epps III (Tammy Epps), and Milton R. Watson III, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her best friends, Marie Johnson, Mona Johnson, and Valerie Spain.
