MARTIN V JOHNSON left a message on August 10, 2023:
My name is Martin Vince Johnson Jr a knew mark while living in Denver. I'm only now learning of Mark's passing in profound regret. Regrettably I had not seen him in years and was hoping to reconnect. Marc was an extremely beautiful person through and through. My sincere condolences to his family and specifically to his two beautiful sons whom I haven't seen since they were babies. Gone to be with the angels I am certain

I worked with Marc at Boeing for several years. He was always a source of fun and unpredictably. After a great personal loss he was able to get me laughing when I did not think I was capable of laughing again. I thought of him as s dear friend and missed him when he moved back to Denver. My workplace e became much more boring without him. Although he was quite mysterious, I was very aware of his kind and loving heart. I’m sorry for your loss.

Marc, You were the kindest person I have ever known. So many memories. Memories of us playing Backgammon and Chinese Checkers. You were a worthy opponent but you had a hard time admitting or remembering, how many times I beat you! The times we played Chinese Checkers until we were both too tired to think. The myriad number of restaurants we went to and the endless hours we stayed there talking where the waiters were surely tired of us staying there. So many plans unrealized. Thoughts of of you will always be with me my friend.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Tonja Longshore left a message on June 8, 2019:
Marcellus M. Longshore.....he loved Lieberman's bakery, I think he actually had stock in that place. It was always his first stop when he went home. Some might not know this but he loved old school gospel music, Mahalia was one of his favorites. He loved dressing out of secondhand shops but looked like he stepped right out of a G-Q magazine. He loved his cowboy boots and jeans. Marc loved his family. He adored his grandbaby Harper. He didn't meet a stranger. He loved to talk, we all know he got it honestly from his dad lol. Marc will be missed by so many people from all different walks of life. He loved life and lived it his way! Marc lol I know I was your favorite sister Unequivocally. My heart has been so sad, but I know despite anything, I know where u are. Indiana University #49 and forever #21 Massillon Tiger! I know I will never hear my childhood nickname, the way only u could say it! Love u Big brother!
