Melvin leaves to cherish his memory: wife Janice; mother, Inez “Madear” Carter; brother, Calvin, sister, Stephanie; two daughters, Nicole Anderson and J. Rosetta Brooks; a son Melvin L. Carter, Jr. (Angelic); nine grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob, Melvin III, Nathan, Sedrick, Sabrina, Justyn, Shaquille, Ma’Kyah, two great grandchildren, Isis, Nyh’zier, and a host of close relatives, and admired friends.
