Doc was real friend and wingman. He checked up on me at least once a week. Best person I’ve ever known. Always had jokes and made everyone laugh. I’ll miss all the holidays, hikes and trips our families room together. Doc, I’m going to miss you buddy, but I know you’re still keeping an eye out for me and I’ll do the same for Kelly. I love you friend.

To Docs family my deepest condolences. I’m saddened to hear of his passing and just want to say that he will always be remembered as a kind, compassionate and caring person. He upheld the true Navy core values. I remember Doc recommending places to visit in Germany when I was out there in one of my active duty iterations. I feel guilty for not keeping in touch much through out the years. See you in the there after my friend! We got the watch Doc, rest easy...
