Shirley Beatrice Wenson entered this world on December 27, 1953, the second oldest child of the late Obediah Sr. and Esther Williams. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Edson and Obediah Jr.

She leaves to mourn two daughters, Taylor and Sunni, her husband, Prentis, sister Gladys (Bernard) and brothers Woodrow (Ruth) and Alvin, and step-daughter, Dawne. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many, many cherished friends.

I worked with Shirley at Beech Brook and at Murtis Taylor. I just found out yesterday that she passed. She was a hard worker and always talked about her Daughters and her hope for their futures. She will be missed.
