Tomieka Dismuke passed away Friday, September 14, 2018.

Tomieka aka Miek-Miek was born on December 29, 1975, to the union of late John Dismuke and Mary Hunter.

She accepted Christ at an early age and she was baptized at Livingston Baptist Church where she attended throughout her childhood.

Tomieka was a graduate of Buchtel High School and worked as a home health aide for several years. She loved helping her clients, reading, word puzzles, photography and having a good time.

She was a very funny, and passionate person who loved her family and friends. She also loved pit bulls, and of the three she owned, her favorite was Domino, which she had for 13 years.

Tomieka was preceded in death by her father, John Dismuke.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, daughters Kierra Bibbs, Randae Porterfield and Suavay Cargill, all of Akron, OH; mother Mary Hunter of Akron, OH; siblings Angela (Eric) Wilson of Oceanside, CA; Lamar (Latasha) Iverson of Delaware, OH; Lamara Iverson of Akron, OH, Tacita Dismuke of Akron, OH; grandchildren Symiah Gibson, Makyh Bibbs and Timothy Proctor III,  and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
