Val was a kind and gentle person who was always willing to help. I met Val while we worked at NEPRC. Val always had a warm smile to greet everyone. Val could always find a chart when I couldn't. I can still hear her mocking June. She used to have me rolling with her stories. Val always had a song about everything and would sing as she worked. May you rest in Paradise eternally with your beloved June.

God sent you to be my ANGEL here on earth! Valerie was my protector, my nurturer and my provider, when no one else was there.
I remember us all (Sweets, Margo Wilkerson and Anniece Niecykakes Stubbs) having laughs at the kitchen table into the late night hours. You are the reason that I learned how to drive. I remember you giving me and Margo your car keys and we didn’t even know how to drive. LOL
Valerie was the true definition of a MOTHER! Thank you for the bottom of my heart and Sweets, Margo, and Niecy thank you for sharing her with me!
