Vernetta Jackson went home to be with the Lord on September 11, 2018. Vernetta is survived by her beloved husband, Willie Jackson, Jr. Loving daughter of Barney and Jessie Mae Culpepper. Cherished mother of Vershoun Jackson Weaver and preceded in death by Derek Jackson. Loving sister of Irene Curlee, William Bell, Warren Culpepper, and John Culpepper. Grandmother of Patrick Jackson.

Joe Louis and Shoun, I am sorry that you have to go tjrough this yome of sorrow. I will continue to pray for your peace of mind. Although I am not able to be there with you, you are family and I will do whatever I can for you. Cherish the wonderful memories you had with Vernetta and take care. Love you.
