Isaiah Christopher Lampkins passed away on May 22, 2017.

Isaiah leaves behind his daughter, Aniyah; his parents, SirRobert M. Lampkins, Sr. and Earline M. Cox; his brother, Brandon D. Cox, Esq. and SirRobert Lampkins, Jr.; his sisters, Tiera L. Sumpter (Kyle Sumpter, Sr.) and Markita C. Cumberlander (Khalil Cumberlander); his nephews, Kason L. Cumberlander and Kyle K. Sumpter, Jr.; his grandmother, Hannah Cox; his grandfather, Bob Lampkins (Robin Lampkins); and a very special grandmother – his rock – Chinita Langford, who raised him from birth. Isaiah also leaves behind nine uncles and great uncles: Duane, Robert, Sonny, Scott, Calvin, Larry, Montez, Chris, and Christopher; and four aunts and great aunts: Marleina, Linda, Marcella, and Carolyn; and a host of cousins and friends. Finally, Isaiah leaves behind Lillian Logan, his godmother and guardian Angel, and Shariss Quinn, a special friend of the family.

Ms. Langford, I was Isaiah's teacher back in his days at Orange High School. We spent a lot of time working together in the best interest of this young man. I thought a lot of your grandson and wrote him several notes telling him that I believed in him. I am so sorry that his life took this path. I will keep you in my prayers and pray that your grief is short, and that the grace of Jesus ministers to your hurting heart. God Bless you and your loved ones. My Best, Ernie Ley

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. Life is a precious gift, yet so short. God has promised to one day soon eliminate death forever, along with all sickness, pain and sorrow. (Rev.21:4) He has also promised to reunite us with our loved ones on a restored paradise earth. The Bible says he yearns to do this. (John 5:28,29; Psalm 37:11,29; Job 14:14,15) I hope these scriptures will be of comfort to each of you and bring you peace.

Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I only knew Isaiah for a short time and can only speak kind words of him. Thank you for the impact, love and care that you showed to my daughter and her sons. To the family my condolences.
