Lula Mae (Thomas) Moore was born on August 12, 1934, and went home on June 13, 2018.
Lula was born to Sarah and Thomas Major in Monroe, Georgia and was raised by her grandmother Loula Thomas. She moved to Akron at an early age and later moved to NY where she was a surgical tech for many years. Lula then moved to back to Akron, OH where she started her family.
Lula was a Christian; she loved playing bingo and her favorite TV shows were WalkerTexas Ranger, The First 48 Hours, and The Golden Girls.
She is preceded in death by her mother Sarah Thomas; daughter Connie Moore and grandmother, Loula Thomas.
She is survived by Mary Thomas, Josephine Wynn; uncles Charlie Thomas, Emery grimes, Marcel Thomas, Buddy Grimes; daughters Dawn Moore, Deshawn Moore; son Enrico Moore; grandchildren Kevin Moore, Rayshawn Pugh, Takeyia Moore, Mishawn Posey, Demitrus Moore, Kendia Peake, Franke Peake, Jaheim Peake, Jasmariah Moore, Charles McClure, Isaih Moorie and Davontiere Hollinshed; 11 great-grandchildren; siblings Emory Grimes of Akron, OH, Ida Byrd of Monroe, GA, Frances Grimes of Atlanta, GA, Annie Bell of Monroe, GA; cousin Gloria Wynn and a host of family and friends.
