To Brandon, Brianna, and Mom, I heard about you everyday, and I feel terrible knowing that she is not with us anymore. I have known Sheila since the year 2000, when I work for the UCC in the same team. She had a smile on her face all the time and we became friends. I left the UCC a few years later but we remain in touch, until I came to work for her at CBLF over two years ago. Sheila was my mentor, friend, coworker. I was not working at the UCC anymore, I left in December but we stayed in touch, I talked with her a few days before her departure. I am glad I did. I cannot be with you to express my support because I am out of state and in a new job, but I am with you in prayers, I pray you find the. Strength in prayers, and remember the blessing that she was in life. Maria

To Brandon and Brianna, words can't begin to express how sorry I am for your loss. I've worked with your mom for 9 years and have learned a lot from her. I've even watched the both of you grow into wonderful and intelligent young adults and am very proud of you! I pray for you both and your family's strength and peace during this time!

Some people do not realize how special a person is until they are gone. But I have always known even if people in "high" places looked low and didn't give you your flowers as you so deserved while here. But rest in the grace and love of God who also saw you, loved you, celebrated you and now offers you rest. I saw you. And I am so thankful our paths crossed if only for a little while. Love you and deepest condolences to your family.

James Landers left a message on February 9, 2016:
James W. Landers III I dont know where to begin to say that I miss Sheila who I knew for over 20 years, and we both worked for a bank before we came to UCC. If you knew Sheila who enjoyed being around people that makes her laugh and smile. Also being a laid back person who wouldn't attend alot of events. Sheila was a professional and soldier when it comes to her work and closing loans. I would come up to her office and check up on her to see if she was okay. I would tell her on some Friday's to put that work up and go home, and would say James I have to get this loan closed by Monday. I have introduced Sheila to a nice man who care about her and her kids, and She would tell me about the nice things he have done for her and her kids. Sheila also have came by my house one day and surprise with her kids with a birthday celebration at a restaurant in which thats a true friend for you. I have also ask Sheila could I take her kids to The Universal Soul Circus and she told me yes. But Brandon was the only one wanted to go with me and my lady. Sheila have called me back to work at UCC in 2014 for a Special Project in which she could count on me getting it done, and from their her and my Supervisor kept in touch and then my Supervisor call me for a Project in which Sheila told her that I di a good job. So my Supervisor and the Executive President ask me did i want my position and I said yes. Sheila told me while coming back to my job. That to do my work and stay out of gossip. If Sheila told you some thing that may help you, then you better listen because it came from her. Love you All!
