Tanya Daneen Renae (Senter) McKinney soul sought refuge in the arms of the Lord on August 7, 2018 surrounded by family and loved ones.  She was born September 3, 1969 and resided in Akron, OH all of her life.

She attended the Akron Public Schools and was a 1988 graduate of Buchtel High School.  Tanya loved life and lived each day to its fullest.  She enjoyed working, shopping, and playing slot machines.  She made friends everywhere she went and was always striking up long conversations with people.  Tanya was a loving devoted and dedicated mother to her children.  She always kept their interest first and would do anything for them.

Tanya was proceeded in death by her mother Joan F. Senter-Love, Grandfather Henry TJ Senter, and paternal grandmother Mildred Simpson. She was survived by her husband John McKinney; children Tenisha Senter, Giorgio Freedom, Kwame Senter, Shamaya Nurse, Shaquile Senter, Byron Colvin Jr., Martel Senter-Scurry, Shantano Senter-Scurry, and Braylen Saunder; Father Roy (Deborah) Simpson; Grandmother Bessie Senter;  brothers Dierre Senter Sr., Damon Senter-Love, and Michael (Destiny) Gilbert; sisters Michelle (Eric) Cosey and September Simpson; 9 grandchildren along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
