Dewitt Herring III “Trey” went home to be with the Lord on January 3, 2019. Dewitt was born on May 25, 1989 and grew up in Akron, Ohio. He was a 2008 graduate of Kenmore High School. He spent many years working alongside his grandfather, Dewitt Herring, assisting with his lawn care business. He enjoyed life to the fullest and you never saw him without a bright smile. He was a phenomenal father, son, brother, nephew, grandson and cousin. His lively humor, wit, and compassionate heart enriched everyone he encountered.

He leaves to cherish his memory, the love of his life, daughter Princess Herring; father Dewitt Herring; mother Yolonda Legette; sisters Ashleigh Herring and Chaunte Dent; brother Ahmad Ali; grandparents Dewitt and Bernice Herring; grandmother Karen Primes; aunts, Denise Dyer, Beverly Herring and Katrina Dixon; uncles Robert Wims and Roger Motley. Special cousin Roger Dixon “Boonie” and a host of other family members and friends.

I love my dad so much and what remember that I have about him is that every time that I will get in trouble he will always feel bad even though now I feel like he should never feel bad because I was doing really bad things I love my dad so much and I really really miss him
