Saturday, April 27, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at The Calhoun Funeral Home, 17010 Lakeshore Blvd., Cleveland, Ohio 44110, where family will receive friends at 9:30 a.m.

James Edward Thomas went home to be with  the Lord on April 21, 2019.

James was preceded in death by his loving wife Louella, his parents, Jordan and Rosie, and his loving children Clyde and Lolita.

 

Left to cherish his memory are his loving sons, James Anthony (Monica), and Lonnie Thomas; his siblings, Ding (Olivett) Rogers of California, Mary (John) Means of Chicago, IL, Shirley Wilson of Atlanta, GA, Eddie Gray of Mobile, AL, Jordan Thomas, Porter Thomas, Barbara Ann (Joe) Harris of Birmingham, AL, Pam (Rick) Pyles of Birmingham, AL, Steven Thomas, and Gregory Thomas; his grandchildren, Clydesha (Anthony) Pierce of Linden, AL, Tanairrica (Delante) Cooper, Tiarra Thomas, and Laniece Thomas of New Orleans, LA; great-grandsons Tydre’ and Marvell Cooper; sisters-in-law Alberta Daniels and Carrie Jones, brother-in-law James H. Daniels; his very special niece, Andrea Longstreet; his step-daughter, Genotric (Jeffrey) Lawson; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
