JJ your smile and laugh captivated every room we've ever shared. I am thankful for the time we've shared whither in the trenches at the Drew or just laughing (acting silly most times) in the office. Your positivity was contagious. Thank you for being my friend and co-worker over the years. You will sincerely be missed. Love you always. Praying for the Jones family.

Sarah Speirs left a message on January 5, 2021:
I was blessed to know Jerilyn “JJ” for over 10 years not only through our employment at IMG, OBE and the Drew League, but also during our time on the WISE board and as brief roomies. She was easy to love and I’m so lucky to have called her a friend. I loved many things about her including her dependability, her witt, the ease of working with, her strength when you needed a shoulder to lean on and her passion for those she loved. I have many wonderful memories with her, usually because she was always making me laugh, but the one that kicked off our friendship was our love and need for snacks (hers usually 100% healthier than mine). One day from the opposite side of our very high cubicle walls, JJ heard me loudly moan when I realized I’d left my daily snack at home. From the other side of the wall, in that dry tone of hers she said, “What’s wrong Speirs?” Realizing I wasn’t getting out of the question, I mentioned I had forgotten my snack. I suddenly hear “Incoming.” and I turn around to see what I thought was someone walking into my cubicle. Instead, JJ had sent a bag of almonds flying over the top of the cubicle and it landed on my head. I shriek and her response was, “You’ll never forget your snacks again.” For the next year, JJ provided us with daily healthy snacks delivered from the sky and I was only hit in the head a few more times. Ultimately, we always ended up wheeling our chairs into each other’s cubes so we could finish the snacks together and catch up on the daily gossip. It was always a special part of my day. I will miss Jerilyn deeply. Sending love and prayers to her family and friends. Rest in peace my sweet friend. Xo

Jerilyn was a hard worker and thoughtful caring colleague. She worked with us at OBE in LA on a couple of projects. We haven't worked together in a few years, but I do have very fond memories of her always smiling and willing to pitch in on what ever was asked. We send love and light to her family and friends. RIP Jerilyn

My cousin was the most beautiful person I knew. We didn’t have a lot of years with each other, but it was enough to know heart was good. Head strong like her father she was about her business and I also envied her height because I’m the shortest one. I know she will be standing tall at the gates of heaven with Auntie waiting for us. Cuz I LOVE YOU AND I WILL TRULY MISS YOU. ❤️❤️❤️
